Liesl, our foundation of Rumor's Standard Schnauzers, was Carol's first Standard Schnauzer. After a few short months of being novice handled and groomed, Liesl finished her championship at 9 months of age!

Liesl was bred in 1997 to CH. Argenta's Kavaljer Krona. "Krona", a classic dog, was imported from Sweden. He was a National Specialty AWARD OF MERIT winner in 1994, as well as RESERVE WINNER'S DOG at the 1991 National Specialty. Her first litter produced four champions,

      CH. Rumor's Under The Influence "Mo"
      CH. Rumor's Flashin' Lites and Siren "Flash"

This gave Liesl the prestigious ranking as a Leading Producer with the Standard Schnauzer Club of America.

In 1999, Liesl was again breed. This time to a stylish Canadian dog, CH. Park Avenue Jimmy Durante. "Jimmy" finished his American championship with three 5 point majors, all won during National Specialty weekends! Jimmy was also a top Standard Schnauzer in Canada. This litter produced our very special girl "Ava" CH. Rumor's One Touch of Venus.

Liesl and Carol's mother were avid walkers. . . walking three miles each day! Liesl was also a very passionate squirrel admirer, spending hours watching them! She lives on in the hearts of many !
